Membership Terms

Together we build a safe and inclusive skate culture

To take part in our activities, you need to be a member of Västerbergslagens Skateboard Association. Membership comes with both rights and responsibilities – and is built on our shared commitment to respect, safety, and inclusion.

Types of Membership

Junior Member
(under 18)

Fee: SEK 50/calendar year
Rights: Access to training and events, information to guardians, voting rights from age 12
Responsibilities: Follow rules and values, training in dialogue with guardian

Member
(18 and over)

Fee: SEK 100/calendar year
Rights: Participation in all activities, voting rights, influence
Responsibilities: Follow statutes and decisions, contribute to a safe environment, pay fees on time

We stand behind the values of sport: joy, community, equality and fair play.

Zero tolerance for bullying, discrimination, doping, and drugs
Gender equality and equal treatment for all
Respect for the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

Member Insurance

All members are covered by accident insurance via the Swedish Sports Confederation (Folksam) during organised activity and travel to/from training.

Personal Data

We comply with GDPR. As a member, you have the right to know what data we process, request corrections, and ask for deletion if conditions are met.

Leaving or Expulsion

You can end your membership at any time
Membership automatically ends after two years of unpaid fees
In case of serious breach of statutes or values, a member may be expelled
Expulsion can be appealed to the Swedish Skateboard Association

Conflict Resolution

We always begin with dialogue and internal mediation
If needed, a dedicated conflict group is used
As a last resort, an independent mediator may be appointed
Disputes are handled through the Swedish Sports Confederation arbitration board – not in court
